About Fabric-a-brac Kaitaia

Fabric-a-brac is a fun fabric and sewing supplies market where you can shop for vintage and modern sewing and upholstery fabric, patterns, haberdashery and more. It brings the sewing community together to share stashes, stories and delight in our mutual love of textiles.

Fabric-a-brac is volunteer-run, and all proceeds will be donated to Hospice.

There will be a scissor-sharpener on-site, so bring your old scissors to give them a new lease of life!

Selling fabric

If you have a stash you’d like to sell, you can come and take a stall. You pay a stallholder fee (which goes to hospice) but anything you make on the day is yours to keep. Applications are now open.

Pop-up cafe

There is always tea, coffee and sweet treats for sale in our pop-up cafe, so you can sit down and chat over your new projects and fabric purchases. All proceeds from the cafe also go to Hospice.

Buying fabric

BRING CASH as many of the stallholders will be selling by cash only.

Gold coin koha appreciated.

If you are looking for some new inspiration for future projects, great bargains, beautiful old fabric and quirky bits  – Fabric-a-brac is for you. Come along and pick up some fantastic sewing-related bargains and support Hospice at the same time!
