Here’s a very “New Zealand” dress from The Curious Kiwi – the pattern is the La Sylphide by Nelson-based designer Papercut patterns, the photography is lovely, scenic NZ beach, and the buttons are from a Wellington Fabric-a-brac event.

Rrrawwwwrrr!!! From owls to tigers, this lovely maxi dress was made by Crazy Gypsy Chronicles using a pixelated tiger-print fabric found at Fabric-a-brac. (Seriously folks, where else would you find something as awesomely crazy as pixelated tiger-print fabric? Only at Fabric-a-brac!)

From one crazy-amazing fabric to another, here’s a stunning gold lurex dress (fabric from Fabric-a-brac, of course!) made by Adventures of a Girl from the Naki.

Heading into a different part of the colour wheel, Modern Vintage Cupcakes used Fabric-a-brac find of a length of vintage blue floral fabric to make up a dress from a re-released 1940’s dress pattern. (Vintage fabric, vintage pattern – seems rather appropriate, does it not?)

Moving on from dresses, here’s something a bit different – a cape! Made by The Dreamstress, and lined in a gorgeous scarlet viscose jacquard found at (you guessed it!) Fabric-a-brac.
