Fabric Fun
Join us in 2026 for the fabric event of the year!
About Fabric-a-brac Hawke’s Bay
Fabric-a-brac is a fun fabric and sewing supplies market where you can shop for vintage and modern sewing and upholstery fabric, patterns, haberdashery and more. It brings the sewing community together to share stashes, stories and delight in our mutual love of textiles.
Fabric-a-brac is volunteer-run, and is a fundraiser for hospice – in Hawke’s Bay this is Cranford Hospice. All profits from this event are donated to their work. We have an amazing selection of stallholders. Love fabric and sewing? You’re going to love this event!
Donating fabric
Closer to the time of the event, you can donate fabric, haberdashery, patterns or yarn to be sold at Fabric-a-brac. Drop off at any Cranford Hospice shop. This will all go onto the Cranford Hospice sales table at the event.
Of course if you’d like to donate earlier, Cranford Hospice always welcome good condition donations for sale in their shops.
Fabric donation points once the 2026 Fabric-a-brac date is announced will be
- Cranford Hospice shops in Napier, Hastings and Waipukurau
