What a wonderful morning we had on Sat 18 July – and with the Mop Up we’ve made a record total for New Zealand events!
2026 Fabric-a-brac Marlborough
𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐁𝐎𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 ~ 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐂-𝐔𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐒! 
We are sew excited to share that Fabric-a-brac Marlborough 2026 raised a 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝 $𝟏𝟓,𝟐𝟕𝟓 for Hospice Marlborough following the 𝐇𝐔𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐘 successful one day event and the Mop Up Pop Up sale.
The amount raised from this year’s Fabric-a-Brac is nothing short of incredible, and every dollar will make a real difference.
Hospice Marlborough cares for more than 𝟏𝟒𝟎 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, providing specialist palliative care wherever it is needed most. While this care is always free for patients and their families, it is not free to provide.
Events like Fabric-a-brac are essential in helping to continue delivering compassionate, specialist care to those who need it most. Every purchase, every donation, and every show of support helps ensure Hospice Marlborough can continue making a difference for local patients and their whānau.

About Fabric-a-brac Marlborough
Fabric-a-brac Marlborough is held once a year in Blenheim. The 2026 event was on 18 July 2026 and the next event will be in 2027.
Join us for a fun-filled 3 hours of bargain shopping and catching up with your fabric loving friends. Bring your sewing scissors along to be sharpened and pick up some tips on how to care for your machines. Take a break and sit down with barista-made coffee and something to eat from the cafe.
All proceeds from donated fabrics, stallholder fees, raffles, gold coin entry and the pop-up cafe go to Hospice Marlborough. Come along and pick up some fantastic sewing and craft related bargains and support a worthy cause.

Clearing out the cupboards, or downsizing? Throughout the year the Marlborough Hospice Shops in Redwoodtown and Picton will be accepting donations of fabric, haberdashery, patterns and anything else sewing related. It will all be available for sale at the next Fabric-a-brac event.
On the day…
GOLD COIN ON ENTRY IS APPRECIATED.
BRING CASH as many of the stallholders will be selling by cash only.
Hospice and pop-up cafe will have EFTPOS.
Fabric-a-brac is volunteer-run, and is a fundraiser hospice – in Marlborough this is Hospice Marlborough.
