Loveliness on its way

There are so many lovely stories around the things that people sell at fabric-a-brac.

Things like the buttons from a Christchurch earthquake evacuee who is sick of them being thrown around the craft room. The Wearable Art winner with heaps of ‘bits and bobs’. The 1930s singer sewing machine that needs a new home. The quilting fabric and upholstery fabric.

On the 19th we’ll have local children’s retailers who are having clean-outs of their lovely kids prints; fabrics direct from London; and retro prints on the Hospice stall.

If you haven’t been before, and want to get the vibe, check out the pics of the Sydney fabric-a-brac on the 6 May on facebook. Kaila, our local fabric-a-bracer in Sydney did an awesome job.

Don’t forget we have two workshops on FRIDAY night in Wellington – see the Workshop page for more. We’d prefer you to book in advance please, as numbers are limited. They are going to be great fun! All proceeds to Hospice.
