Remember the Sound of Music ‘These are a few of my favourite things’? Well, it’s not brown paper packages tied up with string for me – it’s cardboard boxes full of fabric! It’s like Christmas at our house (for me anyway) opening up boxes, never knowing what you are going to find. Found a bit of vintage trim and newish checked trim + a selection of good fabric for patchwork and even some dupion silk. The boxes I opened tonight had been packed by a lovely lady had folded all her fabric neatly into these boxes – it was a delight to uncover!
